Winter Wildlife Survival at Sam's Point

  • 5281 Route 44-55 Kerhonkson, NY United States (map)

How do wild animals find food in winter? How do they stay warm? Join us to learn about the survival strategies animals here at Sam’s Point use to survive the cold winter. We will play an interactive game, look for wildlife signs along the trails, and even build our own winter shelters if there is enough snow. This program is recommended for children between the ages of seven to thirteen years old, accompanied by a parent or guardian over the age of 18. This program is being offered at the Sam’s Point Area in Cragsmoor. Pre-registration is required by calling Sam’s Point at 845-647-7989.
