The 13th Annual Trout Parade is set to cast off in Livingston Manor on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at 1 PM. Local businesses and organizations are known to put on their creative hats and add some witty, wacky twist to their march down Main Street. Professional musicians, puppeteers and dancers add to the festivities.
The Trout Parade is a Livingston Manor Chamber of Commerce sponsored event. Funds raised for this year's parade will benefit the Art and Music programs at Livingston Manor Central School and the Catskill Art Society. Business and individual donations, along with the sale of T-shirts and posters, all go to this great cause!
The 2016 Trout Parade will be led by honorary Grand Marshal John Conway, the Sullivan County Historian. This year's event is dedicated to the memory of Lee Siegel and Bud Wertheim.
Avast, ye scallywags, this year’s event is pirate-themed! Ahoy to the high seas (and streams)! “Pirates of the Willowemoc” will storm Main Street in all kinds of olde timey garb. Whether you’re a scurvy buccaneer or a noble explorer, you’re welcome to come in costume, wacky hats, skates, floats, even tugboats! Don’t forget to grab a collectible T-shirt or limited edition hat as your booty on the big day.
