Earth Day Volunteering & Celebration at The Ashokan Center

Earth Day is the perfect reason to get involved at The Ashokan Center, where we've been offering environmental and outdoor education for 50 years. Come and join your community, get outside, and learn a little more about nature!

Two ways to participate—or join us for both!

VOLUNTEER OUTDOORS
10am-4pm
Earth Day Volunteers receive free lunch. Please bring your own work gloves, work boots, and gardening tools. Tasks to include:
Garden preparation
Trail and path maintenance
Invasive removal
Register to volunteer!

CELEBRATE INDOORS
4pm-9pm
John Burroughs reading and talk by scholar Jeff Walker
Dinner by Chef Bill Warnes
Mini concert by Jay Ungar & Molly Mason
Square dance with the Walker Family Band!

Cost for the dinner/dance is $30 for adults, $15 for kids or Earth Day Volunteers! Pay at the door!
