- Local Farmers’ Markets, Summer and Fall: Barryville - Sat. 10-2. Narrowsburg - Sat. 11-2 in the public parking lot behind the Bank of America on Main Street.

1. -In late spring through autumn are wonderful farmers’ markets throughout the Catskills. Visit the Sullivan Co. Farmers’ Markets website for schedules and locations.
   

2. -Pumpkin Fest, Oct. 9 in Barryville. Bake-offs, live music, costume contests, pie eating competition, art, food & fun.
   

3. -Tree Lighting, Dec. (2010 date TBD) at the River Road Cul-De-Sac in Barryville. Enjoy hot chocolate, cookies and caroling.
   

Canoeing

Landers River Trips for canoe and kayak rentals, river rafting and tubing.

Kittatinny Canoes provides outdoor activities for family adventure vacations: whitewater rafting, canoe / kayak rentals, tubing the Delaware River, etc.

Skiing

Ski Big Bear is only about ten miles from Barryville.

Concerts / Woodstock Museum

Bethel Woods Center for the Arts is an outstanding new addition to Sullivan Co., located on the site of the famous 1969 concert. It is an exquisite outdoor concert venue with spectacular farmland views, and now a new museum dedicated to the concert.
